Dropped
I changed jobs, and browsers dropped support for the Silverlight plugin. So that's where my work with the technology ended too.
Using
Microsoft Silverlight is Microsoft's attempt at a "Flash alternative", done the .NET way:
- the UI was described in XAML (just like in WPF);
- the logic was written in C# or VB.NET;
- it was a great fit for corporate portals.
We had several components for editing content and forms built on Silverlight.
