Discovered Figma. Now I only reach for Corel when I need precision work with vector graphics or to draw icons/logos.
Using it heavily in presales work with project managers to agree on requirements. I draw the UI in Corel and we walk through it together, imagining how it will behave.
This way the spec ends up much closer to the final result, and we cut down on rework iterations during acceptance.
A graphics package for drawing vector graphics. At this time I'm moonlighting as a print operator, and later as a designer at a print shop. Almost all the work happens in Corel, so I'm leveling up nicely in this tool.
In the same period I start actively using it to draw website mockups and individual UI elements to get sign-off from clients. Most people at this time use Photoshop for this purpose, but if you ask me, vector is simply handier for mockups: edits are faster and elements are easy to reuse.
