Microservices architecture
Using
The first services have made it to production, and a whole ecosystem has grown around them: events through RabbitMQ, reliable delivery via Outbox, tracing over OTLP, centralized authentication in Keycloak. Microservices have stopped being an experiment — this is now our main way of building the system.
Trying
Kicking off a big project to split our MES monolith into microservices. The homework is done — courses, pattern theory — now we're slicing the domain into services and negotiating the boundaries. The first services go up on our own Docker hosts, no orchestrators.
